5 Love Me Tonight, Be Angry with Me Tomorrow Stars

Wow! This hot new series by Marquita Valentine is classic Marquita.  It's angsty and hot. The characters and writing are superb; the characters and feelings are so very tangible.

Seth has loved Rowan most of his life; from the first time she punched him on the playground in kindergarten to the moment he takes the fall for her and her brother, Jase.  He had to protect her so he did what he had to do and sent himself to prison for a crime he didn't commit.

Rowan loved him just a fiercely and couldn't understand why he turned so hard. Why he was so cruel, why he started blaming her and Jase, and most of all, why he quit loving her. Granted, prison is hard on anyone but on a seventeen year old boy, it's even harder.  When court ordered to enlist in the Marines, he starts to reevaluate his life, his feelings towards Ro and Jase, and his future.  He decides to head home after his grandmother passes away and start to make amends.

Rowan has learned the hard way how it feels to be walked out on.  She doesn't trust men nor their word. With Seth coming home she puts on a hard front but when he's within touching distance her front begins to fall away. Once, Seth is back home, sparks begin to fly, so do hurtful words and accusations.  The past isn't really the past when you can't overcome it.  When Seth he's home to stay she doesn't believe him and tells him numerous times just to walk away.

So, together they must decide if their love is worth letting all the hurt and pain go or if they must move on separately. Will he prove her right? Will he walk away again or will he stay and fight for the only love he's ever known?

Take the Fall is a story of second chances and a story of making choices in life.  Those choices don't just affect the person making them but they people who surround and love them.  It's also about consequences. There are consequences for every choice we make and often times the consequences are much harder than the choices. You just have to be able to come back from those choices and consequences.  You have to learn from your mistakes.

I cannot wait for When We Fall, Book 2, it follows Piper, Rowan's best friend, and Jase, Rowan's brother.  He thinks she's too good for him but yet he's wanted her for a long time now; she has fallen for the bad boy and her parents have disowned her and cut her off. That's going to make for a great story!
