They say men like a lady in the living room and a whore in the bedroom. I never knew the sentiment was reciprocal. Until I met Jax Knight. A gentleman in public, a commanding, dirty talking rogue in the bedroom.
Daughter of legendary fighter “The Saint,” Lily St. Claire knows firsthand how fighters can be. As the owner of a chain of MMA gyms, she’s no stranger to aggressive, dominating, and possessive men. That’s why she’s always kept her distance. But the day Jax Knight walks through her door she’s captivated by his charm. Stunningly handsome, well mannered, Ivy League educated, and confident, he shatters all the preconceived notions she’d come to think were true about men who trained to fight.
But falling for someone so soon after her breakup wasn’t something she’d planned on. And definitely not something her ex plans to allow.

REVIEW:
Next up in Vi Keeland’s lineup of smoking-hot MMA boys is the sophisticated bad-ass Jax Knight, and don’t let his smarts fool you…this man has the heart and body of a champion!  He may be the businessman by day, but deep down he’s got what it takes to put the smack down on anyone who deserves it.  Lucky for Lily St. Claire, because she just happened to have the ex from hell Caden riding her tail like a stalker, and he needed to be taught a lesson or two.

Those who are familiar with the MMA Fighter series will remember Jax from Vinny’s book- you know, his sexy newly discovered half-bother?  There’s a lot of bad blood there, what with their asshole of a father working to keep them at odds, and Jax is trying to hide from the media circus that follows his father everywhere.  Using business as a way to get out from under the limelight, he lands himself at Lily’s home away from home, one of the gyms she co-owns.  His interests may have started out being solely an investment opportunity, but it was easy to see that the lines between business and pleasure were going to be erased, not blurred, when these two were in the room together!  Fresh out of an unhealthy relationship, she was more than ready for a good guy to sweep her off her feet.  But with an ex who was a fighter from her very own gym constantly watching over her with his possessive glare, it was like she was doomed to fail from the start.

Jax really was just what Lily needed in her life, and he was the perfect gentleman when it came to not pushing her to do what she didn’t want.  It’s almost as if he and Caden were the “how to” and “how not to” guides for being the perfect boyfriend.  I wanted Jax to teach Caden a lesson on so many occasions as he and Lily started to move past the friendship stage!  Jax’s father was another thorn in their sides, ever the man who didn’t hesitate to meddle in order to get what he wanted.  I loved that a mutual hatred for him finally brought Jax and Vinny together though, because I loved seeing Vinny again and they were awesome as brothers united!

There were some great intense moments as the serious drama started to play out between Jax and those who stood in his way of having Lily. Lies, manipulation, and misunderstandings shoved them apart and left them both wondering what the hell happened.  Lily needed a knock upside her head for not catching on to what Caden was doing from time to time, which was frustrating, but I loved Jax's unyielding faith in her.  I can’t decide which of Vi’s boys I love most, but Jax and his sultry alpha persona definitely impressed!!

Worth Forgiving is yet another great read from Vi Keeland, and I look forward to seeing what she treats us with next!

Quotes:
Tomorrow I move forward. On my terms. With my own plans.  No looking back at the life I once thought I wanted.  Because I never really wanted it, he just talked me into believing I did.  And you know what?  Fuck him. ~ Loc 93

“You’re good.”  His deep voice is smooth, like running your hand across thick, plush velvet.
Brows furrowed, I haven’t a clue what he’s talking about. Mr. Beautiful chuckles a bit, realizing I’m lost.  “Your drawings, they’re really good.” ~Loc 235

Please turns into Keep your hand where I put it and Thank you turns into On your knees now, Angel.  I’ve always heard the saying men like a lady in the living room and a whore in the bedroom, guess it’s not that far off for women either. ~Loc 1885

It didn't matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she's been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it's boring...and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle's office and everything changes...for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

Worth the Chance (Book Two)

Meet Liv Michaels
It may have been seven years, but I'd know him anywhere. Sure, he's grown, filled out in all the right places, but his captivating blue eyes and cocky grin are exactly the way I remember. Even though I'd much rather forget.

Liv Michaels is almost there. She's smart, determined and weeks away from landing the job she's dreamed about for years. Time healed old wounds, even her broken heart from the devastation of being crushed by her first love.

Meet Vince Stone
Women love a fighter, especially a good one. Lucky for me, I'm damn good. But there's one woman that isn't interested. Not again, anyway.

Vince 'The Invincible' Stone is every woman's fantasy...strong, sexy, confident and completely in control. Growing up surrounded by chaos, he's learned never to get too attached. Love will drag you down. He adores women, treats them well, puts their own needs before his own...for the night anyway. With the biggest fight of his life coming up, his focus should be on training.

When fate brings Vince & Liv back together again, there's no denying the chemistry is still there. But can Vince erase the old scars their past left behind? Or will Liv hurt him instead?
