Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: girl meets player, they fall in love, player changes his ways.

It’s a good story. But it’s not our story. Ours is a lot more colorful.

When I met Dee I knew right away that she was special. When she met me, she thought I was anything but special—I was exactly like every other guy who’d screwed her over and let her down. It took some time to convince her otherwise, but turns out I can make a convincing argument when sex is at stake.

You might know where this story’s headed. But the best part isn't where we ended up.

It’s how we got there.

TAMED goes back in time to the Tangled days. But this time around, it’s not Drew dishing out the advice and opinions—it’s his best friend Matthew, who of course is dealing with Dee Dee.

Matthew and Dee are absolutely a blast! I've liked them throughout this whole series and I loved finally getting to see how they got together. Matthew is simply adorable and so much fun! I loved how he pursued Dee even though she tried pushing him away. The best part about the book for me though, was the dialogue between Dee and Matthew. It's one of the things I love the most about Chase's books and she certainly delivered with this couple! Despite the fact that Matthew and Dee are a little goofy, the sexy times were smoking hot! I was definitely a happy reader! Matthew surprised me in the best way.

I don't really have much more to say about this one, but I really enjoyed it! I think it was an excellent addition to the series. Plus, it gives me an outside perspective on Drew and Kate's early stages of their relationship! Now, I'm ready for TIED!!!

~"Jack was a pussy. If I were him, I would've tied Rose up, gagged her, and tossed her ass in a life boat. Then I would've gotten in after her. "-pg 73

~I want to be her roller coaster and her merry-go-round, her adventurer and her protector. Her impressionist and her periodic table.-pg 120

~Pride isn't always a sin. Sometimes it's a savior that keeps you from making an asshole of yourself. Of not just looking like a fool-but being one too.-pg 194

By day, Emma Chase is a devoted wife and mother of two who resides in a small, rural town in New Jersey. By night she is a keyboard crusader, toiling away the hours to bring her colorful characters and their endless antics to life. She has a long standing love/hate relationship with caffeine.

Emma is an avid reader. Before her children were born she was known to consume whole books in a single day. Writing has also always been a passion and with the 2013 release of her debut romantic comedy, Tangled, the ability to now call herself an author is nothing less than a dream come true.

  1. I listened and review this title a few days ago and I really enjoyed the writing style, the sexy scenes and Matthew character, but Dee? Not at all. She was so annoying and immature for my taste, I know she was trying to protect her heart and I share that, but open her legs with random guys even she didn't know their names? Don't fuck with my heart but with my body yes? It was kinda weird

  2. I had so much fun with this story! Matthew and Dee were such a great match!

  3. Andrea told me to skip to this one. Might need to.
