These are the books and goodies I received in the mail this past week. I may not get to post reviews on the blog for all the books, but this is a great way of getting Authors/books names out there.
I'm down at Disney this weekend, so I didn't make a video. BUT, it's my BIRTHDAY today and I love my birthday! So, I'm going to do a special giveaway to celebrate! First things first, here's what I got in this week.

Sorry I don't have any favorite birthday memories but the one that stands out the most is when my family went to the coast and left me alone for my birthday in a house where the bathroom was being worked on so I also had no bathroom to boot. But my mom did leave me $100 so that was a good thing!!!

ReplyDeleteMy fav birthday memory was last year...I was getting ready to turn the big 40 in November. In October, I was visiting my friends and family back home (in MI) and my BFF had a surprise party for me, filled with family, friends and old friends I hadn't seen in forever! I was truly surprised, which is hard to do. I was so surprised and overwhelmed that I immediately started bawling (I hope that video doesn't ever see the light of day LOL). It was for sure the best birthday I ever had :)

ReplyDeleteMy fav memory would be spending my bday the way you are at Disney. My daughters bday is 4 days from mine so we celebrate together. What better way than the happy place on earth. Happy bday hope its a good one!

ReplyDeletewell I dont really remember but when I was little my mom used to make me the best birthday cakes.. I have seen so many of them in pictures. and I looked so happy in them!
But to be honest the most recent one was when I turned 31 haha my husband and kids and I went to Disneyland (I LOVE DISNEY!) and it was so much fun! then after that he took me to the jewlery store and upgraded my wedding ring.. it was a happy day and suprise!!

Happy Birthday! One of my favorite bday memories is celebrating with my daughter the first time she was old enough to want to make it special for me. she cooked a bday meal, cake and a homemade certificat book for cleaning, messages, time with her etc. I still have the book, I didn't want to rip out pages. ReplyDeleteFavorite birthday memory....hmmmm. Well my birthday is December 30th, which is entirely TOO close to Christmas. It's also the day before my Dad's birthday and 2 days before my brothers birthday. So growing up I never celebrated just my birthday. It was always thrown in with Christmas or other birthdays or New Years. So the first year I was married, my husband made a big deal out of it. We actually celebrated it just for me. That one is my favorite.

My favorite BD memory is from the Breaking Dawn BD party I threw for myself last year! (The movie was released on my BD weekend!) My friend's showed up at the door with a huge cardboard cut-out of Edward! I couldn't stop laughing. I have awesome friends! Happy BD to you & thank you for sharing your gifts with us!!!

I found out I got into law school a few years ago on my birthday. This year, I found out I passed the bar on my birthday!! :)

ReplyDeleteMy birthday was on the 13th and my parents came up this weekend to surprise me because they knew that I was feeling homesick - plus they brought me a blue ray player which is amazing since I was previously playing dvds through my computer. Now I can actually watch movies - not that I have time to since I am now in my second year of law school, but still, it's the thought that counts :)

My most favorite birthday memory... when I was little (like 8 or 9), I had this obsession with tea sets (ok I still collect tea sets, I just like them lol) and my mom threw me a birthday party at this "doll house" place. All my friends and I dressed up in this prissy dresses and jewelry & had a real tea party. I think it was a favorite becauseit was one of the few parties my parents ever really threw me. Otherwise my 6th birthday stuck with me... I had the chicken pox lol. Anyway...
