Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lover's 1) by Tara Sivec-Adult Contemporary Romance
Kindle format purchased on Amazon

Claire is a twenty-something, single mom that grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he’s asleep) toddler a better life.
When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.

With Carter’s undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire’s panic that her stretch marks and slim to none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.
Warning: includes explicit sex, profanity and enough sarcasm to choke a horse.

My Take:
I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved this book. I think everyone could relate to this book in some way, at some point in their lives. And I'm telling you, Tara IS my long lost sibling. We even grew up in the same area!

The characters rocked my face off! I had an instant connection with Claire. Besides the fact that she's a virgin in college and gets knocked up, I AM Claire. I lost my v-card quite a bit sooner. (YES, I'm a dirty slutty whore!) Anyway, this girl thinks and says what most women are afraid to say. She's learning to embrace her sexuality, thanks to her BFF Liz and she's finally found her Prince. I could go on and on about how fantastic she is, but I'd rather you read about me, I mean her, yourself.

Now Carter. *SIGH* I really love him. Seriously. What girl wouldn't love knowing that a guy has thought about her for five years??? Ugh, instant panty soaker! Then, top that with all the dirty thoughts he has in his head. Just insert peen here! NOW.

The supporting cast is also fantastic. While I relate to Claire very personally, I am probably more of a combo of Claire and Liz. Although, my first thought when I started reading this was, "Has Tara been taping Andrea and I's conversations?" They say exactly things that my BFF and I say to each other. LOVED IT! I was in tears and had an asthma attack from laughing so hard. I even loved Drew and Jenny. They made me lol more than once. However, the best supporting character award goes to GAVIN. Not only is he the Prince of Cuteness, but OMG I nearly DIED with the Rabbit scene and knocking at the door.

Let's get to the smexy, shall we. While I wouldn't consider this an Erotic novel, there are graphic sex scenes that melted my panties right off. Not only is the sex hot, but the connection that she and Carter share, makes the sex seem even steamier. BTW, I will forever think of chocolate in a purely sexual way now. Thank you Tara!

This book was exactly the book I needed. Not only did I connect with the characters, but I fell in love with the story. My vagina was cheering loud and proud! (I won't confirm or deny having any of the toys mentioned in this book.) So, on behalf of vagina's and Captain Hooks everywhere, THANK YOU TARA! You've given me a book that made me laugh, swoon, melt, and cheer. I was sad that it ended, but look forward to continuing Carter and Claire's (sexual) adventures!

Here are some of my favorite moments/quotes/phases:
~Pussy Punch:when a Twat Tap just isn't enough.
~Count Chocula Cooter
~Yes, sometimes I act like a twelve-year-old boy. Don't judge me.
~"Do you honestly think I would be friends with you if I thought there wasn't a dirty whore lurking in there somewhere? Give me a little credit please. You are the quintessential lady in the streets, freak in the sheets."
~This just proved that everything they did in the movies was a load of bullshit. His arm was under my neck on the pillow which put my head at an awkward angle. I could already feel the beginnings of a kink. I was starting to sweat like a whore in church with his other arm heavily draped over my waist and his legs tangled with mine. With my sweaty ass and his itchy leg hair, it felt like I had a hundred mosquito bites on my legs.

  5. I waited to come and read your review. I wanted to read it first. OMG this book was hysterical. It's so funny reading it, when you are seeing your thoughts and words put in front of you. Too funny. I'm glad that we are not the only women in the world that talk like this. Yay VAG!

BTW, I was not a dirty whore like you. I waited until I was 19 in the Army to give up my V Card. Veterans day. #I'msopatriotic
