Beg For It (Pact of Seduction 2) by Stacey Kennedy-Adult Erotic Romance
Kindle format given by author for review/blog tour
Summary:
The Pact of Seduction has one rule—fulfill your ultimate fantasy. Bella’s problem, she can’t live up to her vow. But her failure spins events that lead her into unknown territory. Kole, a Dom at the sex club Castle Dolce Vita, wasn’t part of her fantasy, but he’s about to show her he should have been.
Kole is more than willing to introduce Bella to BDSM since he’s held an interest in her for some time. But the feisty woman isn’t easily tamed and her strong personality proves to be difficult. While she might be determined to keep him at a distance, Kole has other ideas. He won’t allow her to shut him out.
A pact between best friends brought them together, emotional barriers tear them apart. Kole skillfully reminds Bella through pleasure and punishment that she is now his submissive, and her place is under his command.
Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find objectionable: anal play/intercourse, BDSM theme and elements.
My Take:
I don't even know where to begin. I certainly have found a gem of a series. I like the idea of a group of friends forming a pact to fulfill their sexual fantasies. The first book, Bind Me, was a nice slow intro into what I found in this book. It definitely left me a bit over heated.
I liked Bella from the first book. Her fantasy was to get with another girl. Well, that didn't work out for her, so she decides to try the BDSM lifestyle with veteran Kole. Since their friends have gotten together, there has been an unspoken attraction between Bella and Kole. Neither one of them acted on it until Bella's experiment goes bad. So, she signs up to try things out with Kole at the Castle.
Kole is most definitely a dominant. He pushes the limits. Kole wants Bella, but won't pressure her into his lifestyle. So, when she consents to try it out and chooses Kole to fulfill her fantasies, he's thrilled. It's clear that there is a connection between them, before they even get to the sex. It takes a while for Bella to submit, which I could relate to. She's a strong woman, who doesn't let anyone push her around. She learns to accept Kole and begins to appreciate the experience.
Alright...enough skirting around the issue. The sex was kinky people. I am not familiar with the BDSM lifestyle, but I can see the appeal. As I said last week, I believe I would be a Dom and I'm not into pain or rear end business, but I won't lie, there were parts in this book that were pretty hot. Maybe it was because I saw her really break down and become vulnerable. Who knows? Either way, I did identify with Bella and thought Kole was smokin' hot. I would totally try to tame that beast! LOL
If you are looking for a hot Erotic series to get started on, this is a good one. Yes, there is SEX, but you will also see the psychological aspect behind the sexual choices they make. It's truly interesting and leaves you with many, many, questions.

Sounds like a good read!
ReplyDeleteOMG "I'm not into pain or rear end business" - I'm dying.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I would like these. I'm so not into the bdsm stuff. Like at all. A little hair pulling is about as far as I can take. However.. confession - I have done some of the rear end business in the very far back past. It's not bad, but it wasn't mind blowingly pleasurable. It was actually kinda boring.
Yes, I totally did just admit that on your blog. lol.
Lolololol! I love you, April!
DeleteThis sounds like a great series. Not all about the sex, but getting to know the characters too. It definitely sounds like it's worth checking out. Thanks for the great review!!
