I was looking forward to reading this book, but I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. Jean-Claude and Anita are one of my favorite couples and I expected there to be some serious kink in this book. Now, I know it's just a little tease for Kiss the Dead, which I have waiting on my Kindle, but I felt a bit let down. There has always been some serious chemistry between Anita, Asher, and Jean-Claude, so I just wanted a bit more. I'm not saying that I didn't like it and trust me...I got overheated, but after I finished the book I felt a bit meh. I can't wait to read Kiss the Dead though!
I know this is a short review for me, but really, there isn't much to say. It's pretty far in to the series, so if you haven't read the series, you have no idea what I'm talking about. I highly recommend this series as a whole though! It's one of my favorites.
