Waiting on Wednesday 5/16

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

This week my pick is Kiss the Dead by Laurell K. Hamilton.

When a fifteen-year-old girl is abducted by vampires, it’s up to U.S. Marshal Anita Blake to find her. And when she does, she’s faced with something she’s never seen before: a terrifyingly ordinary group of people—kids, grandparents, soccer moms—all recently turned and willing to die to avoid serving a master. And where there’s one martyr, there will be more…

But even vampires have monsters that they’re afraid of. And Anita is one of them…-Goodreads

Why I can't wait???

Well, let's see. Jean-Claude, Jean-Claude, and oh yeah...Jean-Claude. But seriously, I became a fan of this series long before my blogging days. Anita has had her ups and downs, but the last few books are on an upturn again. I loved Hit List and have Beauty in my grubby little hands waiting to be read. So, simply...I need it, because I love this crazy bunch of characters! Kiss the Dead is set to release on June 5th!

Available for pre-order on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

  1. Dang. I like that cover. I haven't read this series, but I've heard plenty about Anita and Jean-Claude.
    Thanks for sharing, luv!

    1. I have it all. You can borrow it if you want. I wasn't a hug Jean-Claude fan right away, but let me tell you that I can't imagine the series without him. He's my favorite one of Anita's men. LOL He takes kinky, to a whole new level. :)

  2. Haven't read this series, but it's on my TBR. Great pick...this Jean-Claude fellow has piqued my interest. :)

Here's my WoW post. Happy Wednesday! :D

  3. I read the first book in this series and never read any more of them. I don't know why, because I liked the first book. Now it just seems so daunting because there are so many. O.O

  4. I haven't read this series, but it certainly looks good. Added it to my TBR pile.

  5. This does sound like it will be a wonderful book to read.

  6. Another one of those series I always mean to start! I have Guilty Pleasures, but it just sits on my Kindle. I will read it someday!

  7. I love me some JC! He is the only one I like really. I hate Richard! Is that dick still around?! Probably since he's part of their triumvirate or whatever it is called. I stopped reading during the 8th book when Anita sleeps with him BARF! Thanks for visiting My WOW!

I love getting comments from my readers! Thank you for stopping by!
